Mrs Betty FUNG, Head of PICO, attended the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on 24 - 25 June 2018. Founded in 1951, the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting gathers Nobel Laureates in the fields of natural sciences to meet leading scientists of the next generation to exchange knowledge and experience every year. Some 40 Nobel Laureates and 600 young scientists from different countries participated in the meeting this year.
On 26 June 2018, Mrs Fung called on the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (“KAS”) in Berlin to understand more about the latest development in open data policy and promotion of digitalisation in Germany. She also called on the Berlin Partner in Germany on 27 June 2018 to understand more about the work of Berlin Partner and the latest FinTech scene in Germany.
